Taihao Shenyang Electric Motor Party Members Visit the "9.18" Historical Museum

On June 25, 2022, to commemorate the 101st anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, promote the fine traditional culture of the Chinese nation, strengthen Party spirit, and ensure that Party members remain true to their original aspirations and keep their mission firmly in mind, the Party Committee of Taihao Shenyang Electric Motor Co., Ltd. organized a visit to the "9.18" Historical Museum for its Party members.

Never Forget National Humiliation; Revitalize China

Located at No. 46 Wanghua South Street, Dadong District, Shenyang, the Shenyang "9.18" Historical Museum was expanded starting in September 1997—building upon the original "Broken Calendar" monument and underground exhibition hall—and officially opened on September 18, 1999. It serves as a large-scale, modern base for patriotism and national defense education. Through a vast array of artifacts, historical documents, and diverse exhibition techniques, the museum depicts the historical saga of the people of Northeast China—spanning the fourteen years following the "9.18" Incident (Mukden Incident) launched by Japanese imperialism—as they endured enslavement, rose up in resistance, and fought bloody battles. It educates the public to never forget national humiliation and to strive for the revitalization of China.

Solemn Oath-Taking

Under the organization and guidance of the company's Party Committee, the Party members solemnly raised their right hands to reaffirm their Party admission oath. Their resounding, powerful vows echoed through the exhibition hall and stirred the hearts of every member—a resonance spontaneously arising from the depths of their souls.

Touching the Soul, Cleansing the Mind

It was a magnificent and unforgettable era; a spirit that transcends history to illuminate the future. Gazing upon the remains of victims from the Pingdingshan Massacre, one could sense the silent, angry condemnation of the Japanese invaders' atrocities. Witnessing the brutal rule of the Japanese military in the Northeast—their seizure of vast resources and horrific human experimentation—was truly harrowing. Observing scenes of anti-Japanese fighters gathered around campfires, one was reminded of those who sacrificed their lives to resist the invaders and defend the motherland. Living in an era of peace, we have not personally experienced the baptism of war, nor have we endured the plight of displacement amidst fields of corpses or suffered the atrocities of rape and plunder. Yet, through vivid imagery and detailed accounts, irrefutable historical records, ruined sites, authentic footage, and realistic reenactments, we are able to understand this history and grasp the magnitude of the life-and-death catastrophe that threatened our nation's very survival.

The September 18 Incident left us with a profound lesson: "Backwardness invites aggression." Today, we commemorate this event to ensure we never forget this national humiliation; we strive to strengthen our nation, steel our resolve, and contribute to the country's development, ensuring such a tragedy never repeats itself. Through these visits and educational activities, Party members have undergone a deep spiritual awakening; they are reminded never to forget the pain this history inflicted upon China, to honor the revolutionary martyrs, and to keep the memory of this national humiliation alive.

Staying True to Our Founding Mission

For years, Taihao Shendian has attached great importance to Party building, effectively integrating it into daily operations to drive the company's overall progress. The company's Party committee regularly organizes study sessions and training for members and prioritizes the recruitment of outstanding employees into the Party. Initiatives such as designating "Communist Party Member Posts" enhance the exemplary role of members, while incentive and accountability mechanisms drive continuous innovation.
