Taihao Shendian Invited to Exhibit at the 3rd Wuhan International Water Conservancy and Hydropower Expo
The 3rd Wuhan International Water Conservancy and Hydropower Expo (2019) concluded on November 30 at the Hanyang International Expo Center.
Hosted by the Hubei Society for Hydroelectric Engineering, the Hubei Society for Environmental Sciences, the Asian Water Enterprises Federation, and Guangdong Grandeur International Exhibition Group Co., Ltd., the expo aimed to promote the development of my country's hydropower construction and unite water conservancy enterprises. It showcased advanced products and cutting-edge technologies in the sector, striving to elevate the water conservancy industry to new heights.

Over the years, Taihao Shendian has continuously expanded its presence in the water conservancy sector, achieving success in numerous projects. The company has participated in a series of key national water conservancy initiatives, including the "Diverting Yangtze Water to Huaihe River" project, the Huanren Dongfanghong Hydropower Station project, the Luxi Chemical "Relocation and Integration" project, the Baiyin Jinghui Water Conservancy Project in Gansu, and the comprehensive renovation of the Shenyang canal system. Notably, the 11 permanent magnet Generators (Model TFYC500-24, 375kW, 400V, IP23) manufactured for the Huanren Dongfanghong Hydropower Station have demonstrated stable performance and reliable operation since entering service. Taihao Shendian once again earned unanimous praise from clients for its excellent corporate reputation, superior product quality, strong technical capabilities, and comprehensive service system. Furthermore, this collaboration marked the first time in China that permanent magnet generators were deployed in this specific production model.
Performance Advantages of Permanent Magnet Generators:
1. Permanent magnet generators eliminate components found in excitation-type generators—such as excitation windings, carbon brushes, and slip rings—resulting in a simpler overall structure. This design avoids common failures associated with excitation-type generators, such as burnt-out or broken excitation windings and worn-out carbon brushes or slip rings, thereby significantly enhancing overall reliability.
2. The adoption of a permanent magnet rotor structure allows for a more compact internal design, drastically reducing both the generator's volume and weight.
3. At the same power rating, a permanent magnet generator delivers double the output power of an excitation-type generator during idling. 4. The permanent magnet rotor structure eliminates the excitation power required to generate the rotor magnetic field as well as the mechanical friction losses associated with carbon brushes and slip rings, thereby significantly enhancing the efficiency of the permanent magnet generator.

During the exhibition, numerous relevant enterprises engaged in in-depth discussions with our company, with some even reaching preliminary cooperation agreements on-site. Notably, companies from the water conservancy sectors in Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan plan to pursue further technical exchanges and collaboration with us regarding our product lines, including Permanent Magnet Motors, vertical synchronous motors, and vertical asynchronous motors.
By participating in this exhibition, we aimed to establish an information-sharing platform for the entire water conservancy industry and facilitate market expansion for both domestic and international enterprises. This initiative not only bolstered our market influence but also created new opportunities for our company's development within the water conservancy sector.
