Taihao Shendian Successfully Concludes the First Design Coordination Meeting for the "Yangtze-to-Huaihe Water Diversion" Project

Project Overview:

The "Yangtze-to-Huaihe Water Diversion" project is a large-scale inter-basin water transfer initiative. Its primary objectives include urban and rural water supply and the development of Yangtze-Huaihe shipping lanes, alongside tasks such as irrigation supplementation and the ecological restoration of Chaohu Lake and the Huaihe River. The project's service area spans 55 districts and counties across 12 cities in Anhui Province and 2 cities in Henan Province.

Recently, the project team responsible for the "Yangtze-to-Huaihe Water Diversion" (Anhui Section)—specifically the "Yangtze Water Northward Transfer" component—held the first post-award design coordination meeting at Taihao Shendian regarding the procurement of electric motors and their auxiliary equipment.

Representatives from organizations including Anhui Dayu Water Conservancy Engineering Technology Co., Ltd., Anhui Yangtze-to-Huaihe Group Co., Ltd., China Water Resources Huaihe Planning, Design & Research Co., Ltd., PowerChina Municipal Construction Group Co., Ltd., Shanghai Liancheng (Group) Co., Ltd., and Jiangsu Xinhao Testing Technology Co., Ltd. attended the meeting. They were received by Taihao Shendian General Manager Du Shuo and heads of relevant departments.

Accompanied by General Manager Du Shuo, the visiting leaders toured the company's production workshops—covering coil winding, stamping, machining, vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI), and assembly—as well as the National Quality Supervision and Inspection Center for Large and Medium-sized Motors. The visitors commended the company’s advanced international production equipment, high-quality products and manufacturing processes, and the scale of the facility. They expressed particular appreciation for the company's commitment to innovation, its comprehensive adoption of German high-tech solutions, and its independent R&D of high-power, high-efficiency, energy-saving motors.

During the discussion session, Ding Dong, Manager of the Company's Research Institute, provided a comprehensive overview of the company's impressive development history, its global product reach, its robust sales and service infrastructure, and its international-standard production equipment and manufacturing capabilities. Representatives from the various organizations engaged in detailed discussions and in-depth exchanges regarding design schemes, technical specifications, and design drawings for the motors and auxiliary equipment required for this major water conservancy project. They also defined the themes and agenda for the next liaison meeting.

This meeting has deepened the company's understanding and insight regarding projects in the water conservancy sector.
